Onderzoekers aan het Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Duitsland hebben een nieuw snelheidsrecord op het gebied van draadloos netwerken gevestigd: op een afstand van één kilometer werd een overdrachtsnelheid van maar liefst 40 GByte/s behaald. De technologie werkt op een frequentie die een honderdvoud hoger ligt dan die van reguliere draadloze netwerk...
